Privacy Policy

The short version: this site is a static publication. There are no accounts, no login, no comment system, and no advertising network. We do not sell data, because we do not collect the kind of data anyone would buy.

What we collect

Standard server request logs, generated automatically by our hosting and CDN provider, Cloudflare. These contain your IP address, the page requested, your user agent, and a timestamp. They exist for security and abuse prevention (blocking bots and denial-of-service traffic) and are retained by Cloudflare according to its own retention schedule. We do not join these logs to any other data set and we do not use them to build profiles.

We also keep aggregate traffic counts — page views by URL, referrer, and country — with no cookie and no cross-site identifier. These are counts, not visitor records.

What we do not collect

• No accounts, passwords, or user profiles — there is nothing to sign into.
• No advertising or retargeting pixels, and no data broker integrations.
• No newsletter, so no email list. If that changes, this page changes first and signup will be explicit opt-in.
• No payment data. We never process a transaction, so we never see a card number.

Affiliate links, stated plainly

Some outbound links to vendors are affiliate links. If you sign up through one, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. These links are marked rel="sponsored" in the page markup, so they are machine-readable as well as disclosed here.

Two consequences worth being explicit about. First, when you click an affiliate link, the destination vendor may set its own cookie to attribute the referral — that is the vendor's processing under the vendor's privacy policy, not ours. Second, and more important: commission does not buy ranking. Our methodology explains how vendors are ordered, and we publish figures that are unflattering to partners when that is what the arithmetic shows. If a page's recommendation would change with the commission removed, the page is broken.

Third parties that see your request

• Cloudflare — hosting and CDN. Every request passes through it.
• Vendor websites — only if you choose to click an outbound link.
• Exchange rate sources — our published rates come from the European Central Bank via Frankfurter, fetched server-side on a schedule. Your browser does not contact them, and they never see your request.

Currency figures on this site are computed at build time, not in your browser. Reading a corridor page does not call any pricing or FX API from your device.

Your rights

If you are in the EU, UK, or a jurisdiction with comparable rules, you have rights of access, correction, deletion, and objection over personal data held about you. In practice we hold no personal data beyond the transient server logs described above, so an access request will usually return nothing to disclose. You are still entitled to ask, and we will answer honestly rather than pretending a record exists.

This site publishes operational research on employment, banking, tax, and company formation across borders. It is not legal, tax, or financial advice, and reading it does not create a professional relationship. Vendor pricing and country eligibility rules change without notice. Verify anything material against the primary source before you move money or sign an employment contract.
