Links to our own products
Two links are not arm's-length affiliate deals at all — they point to products the same company operates. We are not a neutral reviewer of our own tools, and you should weight anything we say about them accordingly.

Vendors that pay us nothing
Plenty of services we cover have no affiliate programme, or have one we are not in. We still recommend them when they win. Examples that appear across our comparisons include PayPal, Papaya Global and Globalization Partners, none of which pay us anything.
More importantly: several of our articles conclude that the non-paying option is the right one, or that you should stay where you are and change nothing. Those conclusions earn us less than the alternative. We publish them because a comparison that always lands on the payout is worth nothing to you.
What commission does not affect
- Ranking order. Rankings come from the criteria in our methodology, not from commission rates. There is no way to buy a position.
- Your price. Our links pass through to each vendor's published pricing. You never pay more for using them.
- The numbers. Fees, FX margins and pricing tiers are quoted from vendor documentation and dated. When a vendor changes pricing, we correct the page.
- Editorial control. We do not run sponsored posts, and no vendor reviews our wording before publication.
Per-page disclosure
Every page carrying a commissionable link states that fact on the page itself, near the relevant recommendation rather than buried in the footer. If you find a commercial link anywhere on this site that is not disclosed, that is a bug — email info@crossborderplus.com and we will fix it.
